I believe you should have been a preacher instead of a teacher. You hit the nail right square on the head about Christmas in a earlier post. Some will never learn or believe. The Bible tells of folks like that. Merry Christmas and A Happy and Safe New Year.

Please read my reply to my original post of Merry CHRISTmas. I agree with Lamont and his posting 100%. It has nothing to do with whether your a Catholic or not. The Bible states that in the last days false teachers will come and try to deceive people, these people the Bible instructs to avoid. Either Joe Losinski does not understand the Bible, or he is being deceived by a false religion. The discussion was not whether Christmas is in the Bible! The discussion is about Christmas being a day of rememberance of Jesus birth. My simple greeting for the Christmas Holiday turned from a reminder that Jesus is the one who has made this all (even this dissagreement) all possible. And all he asks for, (not tells us), is a place in each of our hearts! It is not for his (Jesus) benifit, because Jesus already has it all, everything! But he wants to share it all with us. And the only thing, ONLY THING we have to do is except him as our Lord and Savior. What he has for us far exceeds even our most enjoyment of TRACTORPULLING. I love tractorpulling, but what I really look forward to is when the Trumphet sounds and the Lord calls us home to ever be with him, whether you pull a Farmall or John Deere or whatever brand tractor you prefer.

Yep, Old "Judging Joe" pokes his head out each year at Christmas to use it's origins to condemn and accuse anyone who doesn't follow his form of "legalism". His zeal of showing others the error of their ways seems to over-shadow the TRUTH of the Gospel. I say "seems" because there is never any mention of God's saving Grace in Joe's condemning message.

I don't recall John 3:16 as saying "..... .whosoever believeth in Him shall have everlasting life, BUT",... you can't say Christmas or celebrate his birth on December 25th. True Christians should remember his birth, death, and resurrection every day and every day would include December 25th...Duh.

Joe's "preaching" is exactly what Paul referred to as being a perversion of the Gospel in Galatians when James and his group tried to attach the Law of the Torah to the Gospel.

So, Old Joe can judge on..but as Paul so aptly said, "Let no man trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus"....Spotter

I would agree with you Spotter. The point I was tryin to make was, remember that Jesus is what made all (everything we have) this possible. Even the sport we love of tractorpulling. If it weren't for Jesus we wouldn't even have a holiday called Christmas. Just because Joe does not agree does not change one bit what actually took place, what we believers celebrate on Christmas Day. Happy New Year to Everyone!

Gosh --- we have enough BAD Preachers, why add to them with Lamont, what you say about SOME will never learn or Believe, your absolutely right, ONLY because they don't read and Follow the Bible, and add to it with Worldly events, why don't you tell me where in the Bible we are to celebrate Christmas, that's just an invention by Catholics, and if your Catholic then follow them, now if you want to learn, put in WWW.lasttrumpetministries.org/tracts/tract4.html and learn something about CHRIST Mass....

What part of that earlier post of mine that Farmall Puller is referring to do you disagree with? Who said the Bible commanded we celebrate Christmas? It doesn't command that we drive cars and trucks either. It doens't say we should use the internet, radio, or TV to further the Gospel either. You seem to be a hopeless case, but I'm pulling for you.

My question to you was what part of that post did you disagree with? You didn't answer that. Who's senile????? Here you go. I'll reprint it all right here so you won't have to look back. Now just tell me what part of this you disagree with. Earlier post-(Wrong you are as well. The Sun god Tammuz, as well as any other god, except the only true and living GOD, GOD himself, is only a figment of man's imagination, therefore has no birth at all. There is only one true GOD, and he came in the flesh as Jesus and lived as a man, a sinless man, gave his life as the perfect sacrifice for the sin of all mankind, was buried, and rose again, conquering, death, hell, and the grave proving He was who He said He was and could do what He said He would do, and is the ONLY way for us to be reconciled to GOD and have everlasting life. No, Jesus's birthday has never been pinpointed, but December 25th is as good as any day to celebrate it. I don't like the way it has been commercialized or the fact that a celebration on December 25th has its roots in pagan religion. I recognize December 25th as the date I and a large majority of the world celebrate the birth of Jesus, our Saviour. Don't try to tell me what I'm celebrating!!!!! !!!! We'd appeciate it if you'd just keep your mouth shut about your ideas and celebrate as you wish. )

Why don't you read my post to him and see what is said... Most will love this World and the evil it produces instead of following the Word of God, and it says that in His Word too....
