Is it possible to get a Farmall H to 3500 lbs with a 250 lb driver? Possible within reason I suppose would be a more appropriate question. Will removing all the "extras", going to stamped steel, aluminum radiator, and light weight fabbed front end do it?

Thanks,

My H has 12.4-38's a hyd pump no belt pulley or gear box and me at 185 weigh 3990lbs. Doesn't that seen heavy, but it is a farm tractor full of liquid but gas which I can't afford to fill. No fluid in the tires. I hope I don't gain any weight over the holidays or I'll be tearin' somethin off.

Got a buddy that weighs about 325. He pulls a wartime H with 13.9 36's on cutoffs; no belly pump and a fabricated front bolster with small hubs at 3500 lbs. Actually, he kicks my butt quite regularly.

Ye it will be definitely under 3500 with the work you described. Remember you also have the trans/diff cover to modify or replace with aluminium.
