hey curt how do you dyno youre motors . i cant seam to find a pto to handle 150 . when i get my 13:1 back together .im taking it to a buddies chasis dyno. just curious what torque did youre motors over 11:1 build since i think you said why on gods green earth would you want that much compression. youre stats look inpressive never pulled ntpa . never had worse than a fourth place finish in 2 years .pull from 3500 to 6000 . pulled two 5000 king of hills for money came in second . fuel pump decided to quit . crank broke at the last one.

I direct drive the motor right off the flywheel. You will find that with the right ring seal at 11.25-1 it will build more HP and most importantly the torque is a lot higher.Unless you are turning in excess of 3500rpm the lower comp. engine will out pull the high. The highest comp. I use is 11.25-1, but they will leak down under 4%.Cranking comp. is higher than any 12.5+ engine I've ever tested.Remember it takes power to compress that charge,so get the head and manifold, carb and cam matched so you get a good cyl. fill and the mixture correct and they pull!Tune it on a dyno and PROVE the package.
