I have almost finished my turbo M project and was wondering how hard to push this thing. I have had it out on the road and hammering the throttle in roadgear i can get 20psi boost pretty easy! The motor seems to be limitless but what is going to be my first concern? I have it governed right at 1500 so no crazy RPMs. I am ruuning a custom boost valve that regulates the amount of boost so i can control hp. Any help would be great otherwise i will play it by ear!!!

Unfortunatly i have not modified any internals so i am not going to push too hard. The carb is a blow through setup and works very well from loaded testing. I get a nice brown smoke at full boost. I am using a modified boost referenced full pressure regulator which references 1.8=1 to flow enough fuel throuch the stock needle valve. The main jet has been enlarged also. I had no intentions of surpassing 100hp but i have been unable to pull the motor down with 2 10,000k forktrucks chained to her. I understand detonation and retarded timing. Hope this is enough. Thanks for the help.

Are you trying to use the stock carb? I would say your first limitation is going to be supplying enough fuel to keep it from going lean. Its one thing to adjust fuel on dyno under steady load to get A/F right, but can you supply enough going from no load to full load? If you can keep detonation at bay I would hope that you allready replaced all threaded fasterners at main, rod, and head connections with quality studs like ARP or similar. Another issue will be burning up the stock clutch, I see them start to have problems over 75 hp.
