How much power do you think a 50 will pickup with a 45,90 or 125 over bore? Is the engine currently stalling in 1st gear? Can you trade for a souped 50 that Deere built? They are the models 520 and 530.

it stalls sometimes in the 5500lb class and we know a 5o with a 125 overbore and it will pull 6500lb easy and win. just wanting to know if you can take the jugs off and put them back on without disconnecting the rods.

No. Try that engine on a dyno before ripping everything apart. I've driven a 50 in the 5500lb class on a power sucking clay track. In 1st gear it made her bark a little but it never even lost rpm. I suspect ignition, carburation, valve lash or something well hidden.
