I posted this question on the John Deere board and got a dip sh*t reply. So thought I'd ask it here where people know something. What is the difference between a marvel schebler dltx 81, and 84, The 53 JD 60 I bought came without a carb. Wanting to put the correct one on. This is a stock tractor. thanks.

To find out the difference in the carbs themselves, get in touch with Motec. He rebuilds carbs all the time. 765-963-6628.

If you want to get in touch with a smart JD guy, shoot an email to WTW. [email protected]

Between the 2 of them, they should be able to answer your questions. Hope this helps.
