i have a unstyled wc that i want to make a good puller. has anyone ever put a d-17 engine or any other engine in them. any help will be appreciated.

you can put about any part you want into an AC but put the wrong head on an Oliver and you"ll get your pe-pe slapped!

yeah, a d17 motor'll bolt rite in. but you get off cheaper by using factory parts from wd-45,d17,170,
etc. but whatever works for ya. those ol' allises make some good pullers without puttin to much money into em'

a wc motor with a d17 governer spring and wd45 crank would make a real nice powerplant. but it's all up to you. ask around the allis board. they'll help you more than i can i bet.
