I just read your thread below and am responding here.The first year at Tunica was the best hooking track I had ever seen and saying that you would have one set of good tires for that track then.Last few there were some sand issues but everybody had the same chance.It had gotten mixed in through rodeos and other events.I would say yours will be ok there but pay attention to the tire pressure.They are gonna work on the dirt this time so maybe it will be better.That first year there were broken bull gears,weight brackets,axle hubs,and everyone had to run nose heavy.You didn't have a good chance to try them anywhere this year yet.You can carry mine if you want to try different tires,my Oliver is deadlined till spring.

Heck i might have ot take both of them and just compare them, your tires against mine. Hehe that way if yours work better I'll just trade with you like you havebeen wanting....LOL!!!! I've got a decent set of 15.5's in the shed with about half tread left, still trying to decide whether I want to swap them or not. Wish I could have tried them out more this year but thats the breaks!

Got to agree with on your track description as I was there one of the first or early years and track was something that one could get a bite and compete on. I went back last year for the second time for us and vowed not to return because of the poor track conditions. I guess they won't miss me anyway. If I am going to travel 650 miles to a pull I expect to have something decent to pull on, not a horse $hit (literally) track like that was last year. I really don't care if it the same for everyone or not. We do not pull on tracks that poor where I come from.

We're planning to add N-30 (liguid nitrogen fertilizer) this year. Others we have talked with that deal with similar situations say that this will tighted things up. No doubt the first year with fresh "gumbo" was as good as it can get and we too look back to what once was. We'll do what we can. Sorry you won't be coming this year. Maybe again in the future...Spotter
