Would some one from the SATPA pulling group please post a listing of tractor classes that will be offered at your state pull this saturday Nov. 4 ,2006. A list would let all of us know what you have without everyone making a phone call or trying to e-mail someone. I've heard you guys put on a great pull and a bunch of us would like to come if we can make your weight classes. Also this pull is open to any and everyone who can meet your specs isn't it?

You know...Our club has (I think) tried to keep the sport both affordable and competitive for the stock classes as well as those who wanted to go all out. Our rules are as fair as can be considering the scope of the classes run. I realize that the 3 MPH stock speed limit is tough on those that have enhanced their drive line in some way but is far to fast for some of the JD's. Hitch specs are pretty consistant with other pulling organizations. Tire sizes are about the same as other places we have pulled. We have the best sled I have pulled anywhere around here. 2700# tractors can pull it and we can stop the Hot Farms pretty well. We will welcome all who come to pull with us as we have been welcomewd at other clubs. When we came we tried to meet their rules! Come on down and let's have some fun in Pageland/Jefferson this Saturday!

Question? If this is a state championship why are the rules different than any other pulling group in the state?

Other than the "cut" tires what are the differences? I'm sure we can come to some agreement on minor differences, the time for that is before the pull not after.

Stock Classes start with 3200 up to 6200 in 500 lb. increments. 6200 to 10200 in 1000 increments.
4500 Stock 5 MPH and 5500 Stock 5 MPH
Super Classes 7.5 MPH 3700 to 9700 in 1000 increments. 12 MPH Classes are 4200, 4700, 5200, & 5700. Outlaw classes are 6700, 7700, & 8700.
There also will be several truck classes. We are fine tuning the pulling schedule so that a puller will have time to weight his/her tractor before each pull. The only thing that may be different from neighboring pulling organizations is that we do not allow "top cut" tires in the stock and 5 MPH classes. Practice Pull Friday at 6:00 to 10:00 pm $5 per hook. Gates will open by 8:00 a.m. Saturday with the first pull at 11:00 Charles Brigman

Come on down this Saturday for the S. C. State Pull for everybody that can find a class with the rules as stated by A. O. Drawbars for Stock Classes will be 24" long 20" high. Super will be 18" minimun 20" high. Allen (Attila the Hun) will not give an oz. or an inch on the scales. Be careful with the speed limit, second toot of the horn and you will be pulling for your health not one of the beautiful trophies. Bring $20 for each pull and they will try to give you at least 3 pulls. The only thing making more beautiful noise that the Detroits, Molines, Farmalls, and the Orange & Green things is Big Daddy's mouth. He can talk more trash than a three county landfill.
