The "Fitz" has 100 rooms left for Wednesday night (Nov 29th) and 60 rooms left for Thursday night (Nov 30th). Friday night and Saturday nights are "sold out".

Treasure Town Inn (1-800-201-3040) has some at the $49.95 rate. These are "NOT BLOCKED". Be sure to mention "The Antique Tractor Pull" for the special rates.

Wayne

I didn"t know for sure until yesterday if I was going to be able to come on Friday or not. When I called Treasure Town Inn, they said the $49.95 rate was incorrect and it would be $69.95. After I read this post, I called them back and they told me the manager would personally call me back. He did so within 15 minutes and it is in fact $49.95 plus tax. He seemed to be a very nice guy and apologized for the mix-up. I appreciate the heads-up on this.

Glad to hear what you say. Maybe we finally got it staightened out. Just a matter of getting the info to all involved. The clerks always seem to be the last to know...Wayne

That seems to be the way it works at our school this year too. The students and parents know about all the changes before we teachers do.

I talked to a lady at The Fitz and it sounds like you boys will be hooking a lot more this year. I'll guess 920 hooks over the 3 days. Wish I could make all 3 days. I'm counting the weeks already.

Wayne, I understand some pullers have called Treasure Town and the clerk on duty didn't know anything about a "pullers discount". The clerk could nowever give you a special rate at $75 plus tax per night. Can you check on this, please. See you guys soon.

Sorry for the confusion. I have just spoken with the management at Treasure Town and they will be notifying their clerks to give the $49.95 rate (Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat. nights) to any who call and mention "the Tractor Pull". Those who have already made reservations will be given the special rate. Might be best to check with them just in case...(1-800-201-3040).

Reservations must be made by November 15th as they will not be guaranteed after that date. These rooms are not blocked so again it's "first come".

If anyone has any questions or problems, please let me know. 662-449-3358 or e-mail [email protected].
