pin point accuracy, clean thru. Back when I was driving truck, Id haul flat steel into ENCO down in KY, they made industrial parts, Dozer blades, backhoes, loaders, buckets, you name it, they made it, and used a combo of laser for anything over 5 inches thick, and waterjets for less than 5 inches. I spent many hours waiting to get unloaded, so I had the chance to watch em cut those big plates of steel. On smaller waterjets, if the guy operating it, knows how to set it all up, it makes the parts, ready to do anything without having to repair, or modify. Does a nice job! The thing about cutting thck sttel on them is, you have to have a place to let the waterjet go thru first, it wont cut right thru, so you have to help it, so you have to drill a hole where it starts cutting, if not, you have to come in from the outside and work its way in,,, that leaves a cut line from where it starts on the edge of the steel, instead of starting where the hole needs to be,, follow me so far? A big mill can do it with a drill bit, but, how big is the steel your working with,, to be able to know if the steel will fit in the machine,, Chad
