Advantage or disadvantage , With this tractor, I was told today there is a AR jd in ill, that is a div 3 tractor that pulls realy well , Looking for help on this thank you mark

A guy I know/pull against has a AR that is pretty strong (mostly kicked my butt every time) HOWEVER, from what I've been told, the crank for the AR wasn't a real common (cheap to come by) item and with the cost to build (I don't know how much he has it stroked) he has about $2500 in a crank. He's broken 3 and is using the 4th one.

I guess that you could get a Maytag wash macnhine motor to make big HP if you spent enough $$ on it. There's enough green tractor models that are maybe a better choice, but what the heck, it's your money!

you said it dave the problem is throwing the money, he'd have to use maytag part's on this ar, you'd have to know osk?
