Could you give me a call, I have found an international motor that came out of a gallion road grader. The intake appears to be the same as the motor in my Super M. Can they be interchanged.

It may be a power unit engine. Fuel pump? Bigger oil filter? Ive got a power unit block sitting in the barn, it had a fuel pump, big oil filter housing, but same as the M blocks. Id say if the grader is older than a 57, it may have been a factory power unit engine. Or someone transplanted it in there if its newer than that. Does it have any ID tag rivited? Maybe on the air cleaner, or the bellhousing, would look like the ID tags on a M or H etc etc. On the block I have, the casting numbers are ground off, (but still visable) a different number hand stamped in, I cant find that number in a tractor parts book,,,, The block I got maybe a block that a IH dealer took as a core, sent back, and rebuilt,, modified for the power unit setups. It also could be a dozer engine?? T-6 or a 9? I think there is a visable difference,, I think where the front motor mount on the tractor blocks, the holes are not drilled and tapped. The timing cover is different, Something else,,, water pump sticks out in my mind for some reason,, But I was thinking when I seen that engine, it could be put in a M, with M parts,, timing cover, etc etc,, Have a look,, got a casting number or anything?? Cyl head, casting off the intake? Chad
