I don't believe the Locke pulls were as fair as you would like us to think. I don't know if it's that they don't like women, Deere's or outsiders but something just wasn't quite right. We had two tractors in the pulls a farmall and a Deere, and the Deere was doomed the moment it came off the trailer. The 3 farmall in front of me including our own were over weight from 5-7lbs and they were told they were fine. My Deere went across and it was also 5lbs over weight. The scale person told me I needed to drop the 5lbs. I even asked him twice cause I thought I misunderstood him. As for the actual pull, our 2 tractor are normally dead even in their 2 weight classes. We have pulled within inchs of each other at other pulls. But at locke our Farmall beat my Deere by over 100ft in one class and 30ft in the next class. It was all the deere could do to even get the sled to move, it just spun digging a hole both times. My Deere did better at the elbridge pull when I forgot to turn my fuel on all the way, at least I was within 50ft of the field that time. These are my feelings on this matter, I'm sure alot of red tractors had a good time down in Locke. I will be taking my green machine to the next pull and give them what for!!

Shoulda let ya pull with the 5# I agree, but I have learned to just leave the Deeres at home until I get up to the weight classes our A will pull in (I still love all our Deeres so no offense) but no matter how hard we try to get it set up, our B cannot even touch our Super C let alone the Super H, and the A doesn't start to bother the Super H untill about 6500#. I for one had a good time, tec should have let you go thru if the others went thru.....5 lbs aint gonna make a diff on that harda$$ track.IF you can get your front to come up on that track you must be doin somthin right but when it comes up you better have some power to keep er there.Better off studyin that track,,,itll change while your on it....LOL...I took it in div 3 8500 and maxed out my brackets behind the X ,250 just in front of the X and 200 on the nose.Thats 2050 lbs behind the X...No real cheating goin on Just not a JD day...my MM U seemed to like it tho....Moli
