anyone ever pull with a john deere mt ? if so what classes and what to expect?

I pull one at 3500 with new tires. Normally competative on a hard track. The slow 1st gear can hurt you with lack of momentum and 2nd gear is more than the motor wants. Probably can get as light as 2750 with a lightweight driver and I would think would be a little more competative. Runs out of power in low gear at 4,000 on decent track.

Fun little tractor, will hold its own in 3000 to 3500Lb Div II classes.

I pull a 40t 3500# stock class need to add a little weight though as it only weighs 3250 with me on it made a couple 2nd place appearences but mostly take her along for fun there isn't very many of these tractors is this country good luck and have fun

No , but I have pulled a JD 40 standard in 3000lb . Still working on hitch height , it has fluid in rears . Thats just about the smallest class around here. Fun but no trophy
