I wan tot invite everyone to a pull on Sun. Sept. 3 at 6:30 pm at the Morrow County Fairgrounds in Mount Gilead, OH. There will be 2 tracks. Antiques on one, 3500 - 7500, 5mph, no cuts. The other track starts at 9000# and runs a 7mph class and an open class for each weight. If you got it, you can pull it. Good payback.

The add for the Morrow Co Fair leads me to think there will be a heavier class in the "Antique" classes... My friend wants to bring his JD "R" to pull in the 8,000 lb Antique class.. Will he be able to pull..?? This is a Stock JD "R", and he wants to know... Let me know ASAP..OK..?? Thanks..! Ron. [email protected]

Hey...what happened to the "Antique" in Antique Class..??? They put my friend's LD "R" (45 HP) up against 400+ HP tractors..and many were just plain "New", too... I think they should have given Joe a Trophy for doing so WELL against them..!! Well--anyway--we WON'T be going there again... It took 17 years to get me to go back, and it may take more after this... We waited all night, and the "R" only got to hook ONCE..since there was not an 8000 lb class..
and then, it was against the Smokers that went on to pull up to the 14,000 lb class... It Sucked Canal Water...BIG Time.... Is this what has happened to "Antique" Tractor Pulling..???

I'm not sure about the heavier classes. The best thing to do is call Adam Coleman (419) 295-4592. You can usually get a hold of hime anytime. He's running the pull, I'm just helping advertise.
