does anyone know the difference between a farmall super M and an M..I think I got a super M and someone put the decals on wrong..

M serial number prefix is FBK. Super M prefix is SM

The easiest way I can tell is 1, Super M have disk brakes and the M has tear drop or band brakes. 2 look at the casting on the block, A M has the C-248 and the Super M has the C-264. I'm sure there's a bunch of people on this site that can tell you more then I. Good Luck

Some M's had disc brakes. I have one made in St Louis.
