I am almost done restoring my 51 jd B and when I am done want to build a puller. I am only 15 so I dont have the most money in the world. What would make a good beginer project. I do not care what make or model.

so in other words what would make a good pulling tractor Thanks Zach

A WD-45 is a good choice too. It is hard to find another stock tractor that puts out over 40 hp and can run in 4000. I pull a 53 and it places fairly often unless I do something stupid, only mod is 3" chrome exhaust pipe. A diesel oliver would be my next choice.

Well I am 19 and am building a MM 705. Not a good beginner! I got to deep into it and now if I dont go ahead and build it, it wont be worth anything. Anyhow I pulled 77 and 88 olivers and had a alot of fun the 77 was my beginner.

A U Minneapolis Moline you can get for a fair price and run all stock in the 5500, 6000 and 6500 lb classes and has plenty of power and speed to get through the slow tractors spim out ruts on the track. For a little more fun and not much more money you can install power unit 403 motor and pull up to the 10,000 lb classes and still come out on top. JUST AN OPTION FOR SOME GOOD CHEEP FUN

Put some big tires on your super H and that should put a pretty big load on it. I know it does for mine.
