I am thinking of building a two engine mod for local compeition. I was wondering if anybody could tell me what would be the best rear for this tractor. I am looking for something with the capacity of two blown big blocks.

Your best bet is to buy a rolling chasis.with a rockwell center section.Probably spend half what it would cost to build yourself.

2 blown motors is going to be real hard on a tractor rear. I think the Ford 4000 rear is the best bang for the buck, light weight, internal planeteries and brakes. the 4000 has a few different ring and pinions that you can choose from. Best thing to do is probably run off the ring and pinion or spend a lot of money for custom gears.
