well i went to the 4-h antique tractor pull in durham ct as a spectator ,i moved here from the mid west and did alot of pulling out there,i guess there really is no rules here in ct.for one i saw no scale????? ? some had cut tires????
tractors in the so called 5500 lb class with 18.4x38.never knew a jd60 could be 5500lb with monster 18.4 rubber.and i never saw a pull that was run uphill and down hill(how fair is that)
i lost all intrest in getting my case o matic up and running with only 12.4x38 weighing in at 5400 lbs,any other real pulls in ct?

hey,fred from clinton,i was also at the pull in durham.i had my oliver 88 there.that pull was a 'fun pull' to help the kids of the 4 h fair.they have not had a pull there in quite a few years.the pull was run by the 4 h pres.i tried to help them as much as i could.most club sponsored pulls in ct have set rules and scales.i know my tractor had cut tires,but again it was to promote and benifit the 4 h fair.if you had any questions on how pulls are run in ct,you should have just asked anyone.i pull with a club her in ct called cstpa.our next local pull is in haddam neck ct.ther are also many other pulls.feel free to email me and i will give you as much info as i can. signed, wayne
