Has anyone ever bored or stroked a jd 3020? Is there a certain combo that works good? At what point would you not want it to work on the farm anymore?

You do realize there's a balancer unit hanging on the bottom of that engine, right? And that once you go screwing with the rotating assembly by changing the stroke and such and therefore throw it all out of balance, it's going to vibrate like crazy, right?

depends if gas or diesel, no matter what if you stroke it what RPM's you will run,and what limits the organization runs determines what you do. 30+ years ago it was work all day play all night. I don't think that is reasonable anymore. Go ahead ride me like a donkey if you disagree.
