How do they move those Bauer sleds?

Anyone seen how they move the sleds like the Bauer built sleds used for NTPA pulls? Looks like the pan is a "permanent" part and no provisions to fold up and hook to a truck. Must load them on a drop deck or detach gooseneck.

well since no one else will give you a sensible answer, i will.
you are right, the pan does not move for transport on all the baur or hager built sleds. the truck has a neck that hooks on to the sled just like a drop neck equipment trailer. same principle involved.

Thanks. It makes for a low clearance under the pan I am sure but figured the detach might be the route they took. At least one serious answer in the bunch.

I didn't spell dear right? Boy, I bet folks that look at my tractors think I am stupid. I wonder if Mr. Thinker is trying to steal the identity of the green mag man or is it really Chucky from the bashing board?

PS. If there were any Bauer built sleds in this part of the world I would look at one. Then again, a fellow that can't spell dear probably wouldn't know to look at a sled either. So I guess i can see your point. Thanks for the thought.

i'll be honest, coming from lohn dear you should know not to ask a question like this, but you did spell deere, dear ???? ou812 have a strong point, but the best way for you to anser your own question is to one get to a pull before it starts, or two when its over . i'll fill in the blanks here in case i lost you! watch the sled unhook from the sled or hook up to the sled... p.s i hear theres a good pull in lawrence ks if your close go watch thouse dumb jayhawk fans pull, i must warn you you migt bo disapointed
