You could always wire the governor spring, better hope you have a tight engine though. I wouldn't suggest it.

INside the governor is a screw where you set the RPMs. If you back that out you can get higher RPMs. You may also have to adjust throttle linkage and also helps to put a heavier or at least new spring in the governor while you are there. You don't want to kick it up toomuch especially if you have the old style cast pistons.

why do you need more rpm's with that setup. But really just adjust the bolt in the governor and throttle linkage, that all you need to do
