How much is to much? I have a 123 Cid motor in my B farmall and it is putting out 205 psi on all 4 with 6 turns of the motor. I have had a few people tell me to change the head because it to much compression and it will destroy its self. I am thinking with some good gas and the timing squared away it should be a fun little tractor at the shows that have light pulling classes.

You may as well go to the 100 octane race fuel instead of the pump gas that is all doctored up to meet Gov. regulations for highway use.You will also get an added bennefit of a little lead, which never hurts on an old engine.Set your timing up to take advantage of the slower/longer/more powerful burn time of 100 octane. In short, the duration of burn/expansion/force on the piston is longer measured in degrees of crank rotation equalling more power per stroke.

you should be ok since a 4 cylinder likes more compression more then our 2 cyl. deeres. we have 210 out of a JD G and it runs about perfect, but 110 is what ya gotta have, none less. if i was you, i'd see about some 100 octane or a lil more.

With good gas you will be fine I have a 301 with 320 psi only problem with it is that I can't let it run betwen pulls as it builds a lot of heat

Your B will run Just Fine on 93 or better but you need to get the air/fule mixture adjusted properly for max power!
