This pull was such a joke. Saturday people could have been killed with the junk sled they use. I went from one side of the track to the other, just trying to control it over the potholes and crap that was left in the track. Sunday the techs need to pull there head out of there asses before someone knocks em out. If you had a good paint job or a weight rack you got DQed. If you wern't a local butt kisser, you got DQed for somthing. They are so dumb they tell you that you have too much power. Then they walk away like a coward. They had a 5 mph speed limit on the heavy farm classes and I saw a couple get disqualified for too much power. With a pace tractor, give me a break.

Talk about a coward... wheres your name bud?? what do you pull? If you had that much power you couldn't stay on the track, then for one, you're whining on the wrong message board, go over to pulloff, this is for old tractors, and try to chill out, this is a fundraiser for the ffa kids, try to have some fun.

Wild Rose, thats the sled that when you get so fair the rest of the pan drops down and you just dug a hole. I will not pull that sled. It"s for the super modified tractors.

I like the Wild Roses. I seen a STOCK jd M make a full pull more than once on those sleds.they are real nice sleds and I think we're lucky to have 'em out here in Wisconsin.for the antique pulls, they lower the wheels so the pan is barely touchin' the ground and it can go from stock to modified in a snap and still keep it interesting all the way.The Wild Rose II is better than the original one, but the operator uses them both with good feedback from MOST people. My 2 cents

I agree with you slowride, and if any of the mods get out of control, the operator on the "Wild Rose" can stop those suckers on a dime and still have 9 cents change. I've seen it done before i've talked to the operator cuz he works at the local JD dealership and has worked on my JD 60.

I was there on sunday, it was farm stock only classes. The track was very hard (too hard, they didn't even need to smooth out after pulls).
I like the sled, it is a even pull. It has a rope to kill engine, and brakes, what more do you want and need? Yes there are some tractors that should not have been in there. When they out pull everbody else buy 30 ft and spin out while not trying to pass the pace tractor and have anot of power left at the end, it's not to hard to figure out that they are not near stock.

No it does not have brakes. One tractor took it out the end and almost hit some vehicle. The sled was pushing him out the end. It does not have brakes

You TWO have a different view on FARM STOCK Per.sa.,It is just one or two steps below NTPA classes. When they started in the early 70s,IF YOU DIDN'T HAVE 150-200HP in the 6000lb.& up you were wasting your time and money pullin.Probably there are some bush pulls that have stock pull, but to advertise a FARM STOCK PULL you are going to get Very Hot Tractors.
