Hi Chad,

Been a while. I rebuilt a SH with your parts. The bore is 3 9/16 with a stock stroke. The head is milled .100. I used an M carb. What/how if any should the jets be drilled?

Mort

Yeah its been a while! How ya been? Id start by going about 5 sizes larger than your stock jet size, drill the bottom 2 holes of the metering stem with the same bit, if you cant get enough fuel after that, go 2 more sizes on the main jet only,, and increase 1 size at a time until you can get enough fuel to make it smoke at full throttle when you back out the main load adjustment screw. A #25 venturi should be in a M carb stock,,, 25 is good for low end power a 27 is good for higher rpm. P.S.,,,,, make sure you have over 10 working hours on it before tuning it in,,, it takes the headaches out of trying to tune in an engine that is still breaking in, and not very consistant just yet. Chad
