I can tell you how mine is setup. It weighs 4950 with me on it and I am 180lb. Mine has pressed steel wheels with weld on hubs. I also have the PTO removed and a 3/8 steel plate with support for the drawbar and suitcase weights. I also have a 1/2x5" weight bracket in front that I would guess weighs 75lb. Mine also still has the belly pump in it, front hubs and bolster stock, and has a set of large MM fenders. It does have a light weight seat as well.

Not sure if that helps any, but it might give you some idea.

It is finally running good. I had a bad fuel pump that cause some grief, but after I figured it out it ran good. I have only run around 10-12psi so far, but it pulled strong. It was funny watching the blow off valve scare everyone at the top of the track :). It should be around 100-125HP right now with pump gas, and I plan to bump boost this weekend on some race fuel. Should see 150 HP this weekend with boost increase and better fuel. If all keeps going well, I should get close 175-200HP before I have to split it and do a flywheel/clutch upgrade. At that point I will also put a girdle on it and start chasing more RPM and HP.

Sounds like a fun machine to run! ever thought of fuel injection on that beast? Ive been building a Ford computer system to hook up to a IH 6 cyl,,, The reason I used Ford equipment is,, they made several versions of the same system for different numbers of cyls,,, 4,6, and 8 cyl engines,,, Hook that baby up to a laptop and a dyno and dial it in with the touch of a button!! Glad to see its working out for ya!!! I seen a photo a while back,,, Sweet set up! Chad

I have been down the EFI/turbo route before with my race truck. It is cool, but is alot of work and money. The carb actually works pretty good for now and it was only $50 instead of $1000 or more for the complete EFI setup.
