What is the difference between a 6 cyl red diamond engine and a green diamond if any???Any info on these engines is appreciated..thanks

weren't the RD's the big inch engines? 450 and 501 ci Blue, Green and Black were all smaller I thought.

Red diamond engines were overhead valve sixes; Green Diamond engines were flathead sixes. Silver Diamond and Black Diamond engines [up through the 264] were ohv sixes that are quite similar to the C221, C241, C263, C291, and C301 ag engines, while the Black Diamond 282 and the 308 were built more like the older Blue Diamond engines. [This is going from memory, so it may not be 110% correct.]
