Hello, I have a G we pull. We removed the PTO for weight reasons and such. It has 125 over bore, high compression pistons, head shaved to the eye brows, electronic ignition, 3" crun exhaust, and a cam with the competition grind from roberts. I was wondering what kind of horse power we were looking at. We pulled it last year w/o the cam and it was average,we are putting the cam in this weekend. How much will it really help?

GPULLER2004 My guess would be 60 hp max with the setup you have now. My friends G made 59 without Jerrys manifold and with about same setup you have. I don't think the cam will help much with your motor. Stock G cams have around 200 degrees of duration at .050 and late intake closing. Best I remember is cam lift around .360 inch. Maybe if it is correctly degreed around 1 or 2 hp. Lynn
