I heard a partial ad on the radio the other day advertising a combine demolition derby, didn't hear where is was going to take place. Does any one know anything about it?
Thanks
TeeJay

They have one in Lind Washington, even got a write up in Playboy a couple years ago. They also heve truck races. I went a few years ago and thought they were going to kill someone then. They had little old masseys along with 453 IH, JD 95 & 105 and then there were the two big ones. One guy had a 1470 sidehill and another had a 6622 or 6620 JD sidehill. They were so much bigger that the little old combines were getting thrown around like dolls.

We have ran in the local derby for the past 5 yrs. It's alot of fun provided some saftey rules are followed. In our own combine, we use a 5 point harness for the driver, reinforced cab and a fuel cell. I know these things are well worth it because one year I rolled one over, and didn't get a scratch.

They have one of them combine demo derbys at the local county fair. It is held in Seymour, Wisconsin in the middle of July. It is a shame to see them crashing up good equipment, but the crowd really seems to enjoy it alot.

Combine demolition derby? What?!? Never heard of anything like that. Sorry don't know anything about where it is. Where are you located? Must be one of them northern things. (tounge in cheek). I just hope theres no tractors in the derby. That would be a shame. Never had any real attachments to combines.
