Looking for some help with aluminum rims on the front of my cockshutt 40 with a 6 bolt hole pattern, thanks for any help

You could switch to Massey Harris 44 hubs which would give you the more common 5-bolt pattern. That is what I have on my 570.

do they go on just the way they are or will i need to machine them some, do you have aluminum wheels on the front of your 570,if so how much do the wheels and tires wiegh and were did you get the rims, thanks for the help

They will go on w/o any modifications other than removing the Cockshutt dust seals. I believe that you need to use the MH bearings and shim them a bit on the back side. (It has been awhile since I did this ;-) I have 15 inch pressed steel on mine but I don't know the exact weight. I would be willing to guess that it is not much more than the aluminum that you are looking at.
