A big thank you to all that attended and supported the Mason Dixon Tractor Pull this past Sat. 180 hooks/one sled/.
I hope that the changes we made this year helped to make it a good time for all. Next pull is June 10. Looking to run two sleds and maybe add some additional weight classes. Thanks again.

Thanks to Bill, Jason, Mary, Dave, Mike, Steve, Jeff, Joe and all the others that I can't think of right now! My eyes are still burning from the $25 worth of black smoke a certain Oliver threw up in the air, but we had a great time.

It would be nice to split the antiques and the classics, but I still survived. I did notice that a certain 4020 ended up in the middle of the pack rather than up front this time! It's amazing what a little competition will do for you.

By the way, I got to the camera just in time to shoot the long run that the 2255 made. If you're interested, I'll burn you a DVD.

Thanks again for a tremendous effort! I like the idea of the second sled, we started more than an hour earlier but were still there just as late as usual.

heck I would like to see that 2255 and I am not even close enough to make a pull in Pa. If you want to burn a Cdand send it just let me know how much and what the shipping will be. I live in Dresden,Tn and would like to see the photos and video. We had a pull here last weekend and a young lady brought her IH 1468 V-8. They are awesome to watch and even more so to drive!

Jeff,

I'm working on ripping the video to a mpeg right now. It will make a nice little clip to email if I get it done. The 2255 pulled 319 feet in the 12500 class with only one other tractor of 22 making it past 300. Once the throttle opens past rated rpm, she really belts out the smoke!

Send me your email and I have a few pictures of it at another pull this year.

We did start a hr. earlier, but had alot more hooks than last year. Looking like we'll be adding the 2nd. sled for June for sure. I have a feeling we'll be at 200 plus hooks. With the 2nd. sled, we'll be able to add some more classes and allow 3 hooks per tractor as well. Sorry about the smoke--I would love to have a CD.
The track was the best its ever been.--Thanks to you and your father!!
