OK, now I know there are some Kandiland & SEATP pullers on this board. I would like a copy of your rules. I built a new tractor this winter and want to make sure it's OK to come play with you this summer. Use my email if you want.I still have time to make changes if neccesary.

Rules are all fine & good, however their are usually 3 major flaws with most of them: 1. Lack of consistancy from pull to pull, it always seems some promotor wants to make sure his Jr. or him goes home with a $20 piece of plastic. 2. Rule revisions are usually written to keep out certain tractors. The pen is still the easiest tool in the chest use. 3. Lack of fair enforcement. We have the same problems in south central Mn. Last year our 2-cyl. club tried to set up 2 divisions to keep everyone happy. They were patterned after NATPA div. 1 & 3. To make a long story short, it didn't work. The div. 1 guys still didn't show up,[1-3 hooks per class], and some of the div. 3 guys are whineing that they will now have to buy a different set of tires and spend a day with a grinder to stay competitive. These are the same guys running Power Blocks and strokers, but they would rather slip into a Div. 2 class, kick everyones _ss and go home feeling good about themselves. I say if you think you're a big bad dog, then prove it by running with your own kind.

Dewey uses a basic Division II rule package. Some promoters put their own twist on things, speed, weight allowance, etc. I wish we could get to one set of rules so thing didn't have to be changed every week. Division II tire rules are the most common. His schedule should be coming out soon.

Division 2, yah right! More like division 3 bordering on 4 with the engine blocks guys are running. The only real restraint is the 4 mph snail speed limit. Stock type division 2 tractors are not winning there anymore, atleast not consistantly. Are they running an open class this year or did they do away with it.

Hey Redwheels, got the rules this weekend. 3.0 mph and nothing bigger than 14.9 x 28 or 13.6 x 38 up to 4500. 14.9 x 38 up to 6500 and 16.9 x 38, 18.4 x 38 on up. nothing like making rules for the light classes to fit a wc allis huh?

I don't know which of Dewey's pulls you attended, but I do very well with a NATPA Division II approved tractor. Sometimes it's not the person with the most hp (a.k.a. money invested) that wins. Alot of times, the promoter is the ones that set the rules, because of insurance. This will eliminate the Open Classes in alot of cases. Email me and I will forward you a schedule as soon as it becomes availible.
