I bought a 1100 gallon water wagon for the 4h center today. It has a 3.5 horse pump and i think it is capable of running a 2 inch line. Any ideas on how to get a 8 foot wide path of water so i can water the track. Thank you Charlie

hey charlie,
the one that princeton has works about as good as any i have seen. they have five or six sprayer nozzles on it. seems to do a good job. not sure what number the nozzles are. but it has a 3.5 hp pump also. the nozzles are on a pipe about 4 ft off the ground not sure how far apart they are though. let me know if you want to take a look at it and i will get ahold of a key.

That will work fine but remove the pump, and add a piece of 2 inch schedual 40 in a tee at the end of the tank and 4 foot on each end. drill 1/2 inch holes in the bottom of the plastic pipe about 2 inches apart all the way across the 8 foot of pipe. this works great, normally if you use a pump in the middle of the pull it will be too muddy. make a couple of passes after every 2 classes and you will be fine
