tachometer? HELP

If I was to install a tachometer in a 1934 allis wc, were would I hook it up?? flywheel? thanks>

If you have a Magneto ... I dont know how you would do it. If you have a Points setup you connect one wire (signal) to the Negitive side of the ignition coil and hook the other wire (supply) to the positive battery cable or a Positive wire from the battery.

I don't have much experience with tachs, so I wouldn't know. But I know I have a magneto.

The best thing to do is switch it to a Coil and points every tractor that I have ever pulled or bought for myself I have put a Points setup on it. My pulling association uses a Digital tach that reads off of the crank. They put a peice of reflector tape on the front crank pully and hold the little machine in there hand. it shines a light on the reflector tape and counts the revolutions. We use it for Diesels an Magneto tractors.
