What are all the effects of putting smaller front wheels on a tractor? I understand they weight less but will the front end sitting lower make the front heavier or wont it change the balance much?

If you are going to pull more than 1 time, GET THE WHEELIE BARS PUT ON!!!!

On my tractor, I have 18.4X38's on rear so the front end is quite a bit lower looking than stock.

I think that where you pull on track (left or right a couple of inches), what kind of tires/type of tread, height and distance back of axel hitch and where you have your weigts placed on tractor (front, middle or rear) will make a much bigger differance in your pull distance than if you have small tires on the front.

It will give the front end that much more room to rise before it goes over the center plane. I don't know that it makes that much differance, but every little bit helps! I have mine that way mainly because I got car spare "doughnut" tires free instead of having to buy the regular ones.
