I have a jd A that is bored and stroked with about 200psi at cranking speed.what would be the best octane fuel to run in this tractor?

I have a friend with 200psi in a G . he has to run aviation fuel to get the most hp on a dyno

It is this simple (and not trying to be a smart a$$) you want to use the lowest octane that you can get by with and not have any pre-detonation. I would guess that you will need at least 100+, but that is just a guess.

Is that 130 Octane number 'reserach octane', 'motor octane' or the average 'r+m/2'? Standard pump gas, 87 octane for example, is 'r+m/2'
