Hey, Just curious and have never had any problems before but.

Right now the H is a division 3 tractor, lets say we made it a division 5 tractor or lets say we put a turbo on it. Or better yet built a 460 farmall with a turbo. We put on all the safety equipment, shut offs and the tractor is sound and safe, gladly let a tech committe look it over to make sure. I will even take pics to document the building of a safe tractor and upgrades and improvements to make it safer. Would we still be able to pull with you guys???? Lets say keep a tractor under 6000 pounds so the sled can handle it no problem. With as many sleds poping up over texas if one group says build one and put on a show for the spectators that would be great. But if nobody else wants you to come and pull a different sled is it worth it?

Not compete against anyone but just come to pull for the spectators, still pay the entry fees and everything. Just a question

It's really an insurance question. As I understand it the policy restricts speed.

I was wondering if these pulls are horsepower or scales?

Not to Hi-Jack your thread or anything,

but, there is a pull in Columbus on April 29 starting at 10 am at the Colorado County Fair Grounds if you know of a group interested in coming.

We are going to try to make the Boerne pull. Is it at the same place it was last year down next to the river/creek?
Where is Nordheim?

The Boerne pull will be in the same place and I'll post more information as the date gets closer.

Nordheim is Southwest of San Antonio in the Karnes City/Yorktown area. I'll post more specific location information as we get closer.

Oh, What is the deal about 2 sleds I heard sometimes back?

the sled in columbus will be one built out of elcampo, TX and it is a good little sled.

I don't have all the particulars but, Tri-County will be operating with a new sled. It's basically the same group with a new president. The original sled will pick up pulls primarily North and Northwest of San Antonio, i.e. Fredricksburg. The new sled will primarily (with the exception of Boerne) operate South and West of San Antonio.

Does Tri-County have a web site listing the classes and rules for each division? If not, where can I pick up a set?

Charles,

There is no website. However, Tri-County pretty much follows the NATPA rules. I've attached a link to their site. Weight classes begin at 3,600 and break at 500 pound increments up to 8,600. Thereafter it's 1,000 increments up to 12,600.
