I have a 41' A John Deere that I am running a power block and a heisler head on. I have a reground cam and have also replaced the reduction gear and pully with a 51' A to slow it down. However, it still isn't slow enough for percentage pulling and I wondered if anyone had any other ideas? Also, what else can I do to give a little more pull power? Do the electronic ignitions really do that much better than the original mags? Thanks!

Dont know what size tires you're running, but a smaller tire will slow you down and give you some more power at the same time. By smaller I mean shorter.
