OPINION-IF THERE WAS ONE CLASS TO GO TO THE NATIONIAL LEVEL,WHAT WOULD IT BE.
KEEP IN MIND THIS WOULD BE NATUARAL ASPERATED CLASS. NEED OPINION ON # CLASS,
FUEL,CUBIC INCH,RPM AND SAFTEY. REMEMBER TO KEEP IN MIND ALL COLERS AND SIZE OF TRACTORS [EXAMPLE] 1155 MF 1468 IH 5020 JD. THIS IS TO ACKNOWLEDGE
ALL N/A TRACTORS.SOMEDAY THERE MIGHT BE A CHANCE TO PULL IN A NATIONIAL OR STATE LEVEL.

First let me say that I think there are already enough national classes. That said, the first thing that a national NA class needs is no rpm limit, that's what div 5 should have been in the begining, why would you have two classes that the only difference is 10% in rpm's that is like watching the same tractors twice, and now they are lucky if there is 4 tractors in a class if they would open it up the numbers would get much better. As for rules, stock block and head(or its replacment) 680 ci., any updraft carb, cast iron manifolds and 24.5 tires. You are allowed to run the fuel that your tarctor came with. Those are the basic rules that we usally pull with, we pull #6500 and #7500 most of the time.

We also pull with COATPA rules once in a while, these are a little more liberal, any stock appearing oem block and head, they can make thier own manifolds, run gas or alcohol and only run 18.4 tires. We enjoy pulling both places and we adapt our tractor to fit the rules of where we are going. I think that making a national class with set rules would be nice, but I don't know if you could get everyone to agree, we would all have to give a little somthing. We will be at Dekalb pull in march on the fri. evening, come and watch, it should be a good pull.
