If it is cold outside it is cold on the inside . The building is drafty and cold . Last year It was 22 with a 40 mph wind blowing right through the building . It was not a good time. Just about froze to death. I hope they take out the horse's this year I don't know how they survived the smoke ????

Good luck !!

Ok, so it's an older building and yes the wind did blow through - THE OPEN DOORS - and I CANNOT CONTROL THE WEATHER. And Friday the TEMP WAS 57 and the building was comfortable. As for the horses, that arena holds numerous events throughout the winter with motorized vehicles inside, both gas and diesel. The owner of the arena was told well in advance of the smoke situation and he was monitoring his horses. And YES THEY WERE MOVED OUT LATER IN THE DAY. So that should put that issue to rest.

Now for this year, THE HORSES WILL BE OUTSIDE. THE WEATHER, AS PER KSN TV AT 6:00 THIS MORNING SAID IN THE 40'S AND SUNNY. Chance of rain on Friday.

Once again, I cannot control the weather. The truck-sled that we used last year powered by diesel will not be there. And if you want to talk smoke, well, Wichita was pretty smokey this year too. I believe it comes with the territory.

So come on down and have a good time.
