Just read the new HOOK last evening, got to the ads and noticed all the built up tractors for sale, and most of them were slated as division 2 tractors. I am a div.3 puller and always has been, but the tractors the people were advertising looked like they should be very competitive in div. 3. Where are the newcomers going to pull if this nonsense goes on? If I were a true legal div.2 puller I would be pushing for a 16 inch drawbar and a 50 foot chain to equal the playing field. Just my thoughts,but if this continues maybe you will see a big old boy and a red F 20 pulling both Div. 2 and 3.....

Wake up. Div. 2 has been this way for at least 5 years. Div. 3 tractors pull no better than Div.2 when they meet all the rules for div. 2 Drop your Div. 3 tractor into Div2 and give it a try you might be surprised what kicks your butt.

I doubt it's the way the true Div. II guys want it to go, but it's definitely the way the owners of outdated and outclassed Div. III tractors want it to go.

I seen that also Mike,I wonder if they would pass Div II tech? they might.I also see a progression of tractors going down a division or just not pulling which is not good for the sport.I hate to see it keep going that way and I think NATPA rules on the big picture are good for keeping div III out of Div II.But on the flip side it cost there pulls [promoters]money.Look at the Wauseon pull Natpa Div II 3500-6500 had 7 classes for a total of 66 hooks.MVP friday 3500-6500 had 4 classes for a total of 78 hooks .With that being said if you want to pull DIV II buy or build a tractor to meets the rules and come have fun I know I am.
