fellows- if i'm not mistaken dont you just shorten the length of rod going to the gov. for increased rpm?? but am interested on how fast you can run them up jerry

Ive got a 80+ hp 349ci massey 44. Let me know if there is anything i can do to assist you. If your looking for 100hp my set up falls short unless someone can help me get 100hp out of my 4-1/2 bore and 5-1/2" stroke. Anyone know how to crank up the rpm on these, mine is running about 1500 and it runs pretty strong but id like to see what i could do with 1650-1800.

Stronger spring, or lighter weights would give more RPM, adjusting the rod lenght (post gov.) sets what rpm the govener responds. Don
