Looking to build a B puller

I have a late styled B that is getting tired, I was wanting to rebuild it to pull at local fairs and such. I am looking for ideas on head,carb,pistons,cam,rockers, etc. Just wanting to build a competive puller for div 1 or 2.

MDM: If you're just going to keep it in 1st gear, don't waste your money on cams/carbs/bigger valves/msd/ or anything else anyone tells you. Just rebuild it with some .090 aluminum pistons and have fun. You won't be able to kill it in 1st gear without cut tires. You probably won't win very often, but you'll have a ball.

For "Farm Stock" at your local fair, all you need is a good healthy original Stock Gasoline "B" with the "Creeper Low gear".. Maybe put on some worn 15.5x38 tires on 14" rims and some weight brackets and you are good to go...!! You won't kill a good late "B" in 1st gear... You would have to spend a fortune, to get it to pull in 2nd gear, and that won't help you much, except Lighten your Wallet..!! Thost old "B"'s are pretty surprising at what they can pull... Have some FUN..!!! Ron..
