In need of Stroker pistons

Im looking for a new or good used set of 4 inch stroker pistons,for a 6 inch stroke.Need to be high domed or fire crater type.I dont need sleeves.These are for an M so they need to have the right pin size to fit my rods.Any help appreciated.Thanks

Chad, if you go with the 4.125 high comp. pistons without a sleeve, do you have to do any modifications to the block wall to make them work? if you could let me know either here or through email the price on that kit, i do not want to stroke it yet, if i stroke the engine i have to jump to the next div. in my club, Thanks!

Chad,I could use them if you have sleeves for them,and also if I can bore the stock M Block to take 4-1/8 sleeves without having to use filler in my block,well shoot me a price.I want to keep my bore size down so I dont have to patch on my block,and then I will use my stroker.Im on a budget and am gonna build it just stout enough to have some fun.Thank You

You have a choice, you could run the 4-1/8ths without sleeves in the M block, (no boring involved) OR, punch the M block out to 4.25, (which is the 450 sleeve barrel spec) Have the 450 sleeve flange cut down to the M spec, so you dont overbore the top of the M block and you would have a sleeved 4-1/8th bore engine. Ive got sleeve/pistons,, for the 6 inch,, but, you would have to cut the flange down. OR,, I even got 4.25 bore pistons for a 6 inch stroker,,, Chad

The cheaper route would be to build a 4.25 x 6.25 motor. You can bore your M block to 4.25 no problem. Have your rod bolts countersunk and use SHCS bolts. Then you can buy chevy 6 cylinder pistons that drop right in. You may have to mill a little off the top of the pistons to stay below the block deck.

M Guy,
I've had JE's piston make a couple sets of pistons for my M. They're not exactly cheap, I think I paid about $600 for each set, but really not a whole lot more than you'd pay for a stock M/SM sleeve and piston kit. They really turn out a beautiful piston and include rings, pins, and locks. They can also usually whittle out a set in a week or 10 days. You'll probably end up having to bush the small end of your rods anyway if you use anything beside a stock farmall piston. It can be tough finding an off the shelf piston to work in a custom built engine sometimes. I've about decided it's as easy to have them made and not have to compromise. I believe the guy at JE's I talked to is Gary Dyer. Super nice guy.
