Hello
Two-Tone has asked me to give directions on how to read the Tunica Results files sent by Hayne Matthews. Two-Tone runs Windows XP and Microsoft WORKS programs. Hayne put the results on an Excel Spreadsheet. Since he doesn't have Excel in Microsoft Works, I did the following work-around for one very anxious guy with no toe nails! (For those of you who don't know, Two-Tone pulled Tunica two days after having both big toe nails removed--is he a dedicated puller or what!)
Here's the directions:
Open Hayne's email. On the "Attach" line above the e-mail message, RIGHT click on the file you want to read. This will bring out a fly-out menu.
Select "Save As" from the fly out menu by double-clicking on it. When the Save As dialog box opens, look for the "Save In" line at the top of the box. It will have an arrow at the end of it so you can select from a list. Select "My Documents" and click on "Save" button at the bottom of the box.
Now if you've made it that far, you're almost there. Go to "START" and then to My Documents. Find the folder you created--it will have Hayne's file name on it. Double click on the file folder and you get a dialog box "What Do You Want To Do". Click the Radio Button in that box that says Select Program From List. Do not use the Radio Button that selects a program from the Web. Click OK and a list of your computer's programs will appear. Select MS Works Spreadsheet by clicking on it once. Then click OK.The next box you will see says "Import Excel Spreadsheet"--that's what we're really doing here. Select "Sheet 1" and viola! There's your results. Computers are magic aren't they!
Hope this helps some users see the results. Those of you who have Micro Soft WORD Excel won't have any problem. Just open Excel and select Import from the top menu, then drag or click it over from the email.
Sorry to be so wordy--Two Tone is pacing.
See ya' all later.
