Moring,Just curious about somethings about tractor pulling.I'll admitt I've never pulled a tractor but I'm interested. I went to a few pulls this summer and bought a 1939 Allis Chalmers wc to fix up to pull. I was just wondering how weight classes are formed by shipping weght or by How low of a weight you can get a tractor I seen a oliver88 in a 4500 pound class and if you look at Tractor Data.com that should be a 5500 pound tractor.
Just wondering whats so Antquie about that. Thanks OJ

Well for example, I pull a 88 oliver. I run it in the 4500 to 6500 lb class. Pretty much what you want to do is try to get your tractor as light as possible so you can have more moveable weight to get your tractor in balence. That is why you see a lot of unneccery items removed from tractors. Here is my 2 cents worth hope it helps. JC
