Hopefully this post will clarify some issues that are being assumed about this new Pulling Association. It is being formed to provide pullers in this area a local place to pull. It was not formed to hurt other Pulling Associations. This region has never had a local Pulling Association. The intent is to provide entertainment for the community and to help area non-profit organizations raise funds. We hope to have pulls once a month, and a points system will be implemented to offer some competition between the pullers. Most if not all of the pulls will be held in one location. We should have the rules finalized soon, and have a web site up shortly. Again, I hope the other Pulling Associations do not veiw us as a threat to them. We will welcome them when it does not interfere with their schedule, and would like to feel welcome to pull with them when they are close to us. Thanks Lee
