Thanks to the Maumee Valley Tractor Pullers and The NATPA for a great weekend. We were only planning to run fri in the local pull but ended up running our tractor thru the national tech in the afternoon. What a difference from 4 years ago. This year we felt like we were welcome not just a nunance. We only had 2 minor things to change, one being the tach. Our Ford comes with a factory tach but when the cable broke it was easier to read a automotive tach so we put that on. We slipped a beer coozy over it and didn't have to mess up our wiring. Long story short we ended up joining NATPA and are now planning on making several of their pulls this winter. To anyone who wants to pull indoors and have a good time, try the "New and Improved" NATPA.

I was at the Pull Friday and Sat. and I should have brought along my B farmall for the 3250A class. I would of gotten 2 place at least. I would have been the 2nd tractor in the class. HEHE! But it would have been FUN!! There is always next time.

Glad you had fun. Div. 2 rules are sometimes a pain in the butt, but glad you could overcome the tach issue. I thought the Maumee Valley Pullers did a very fine job as usual. The track is always good and well manicured. Thanks Maumee Valley

Between the great track conditions and some great pulls (Gary's tractor especially), it was well worth the drive down from mid-Michigan to spectate. I shouldn't have left the ugly old Minnie in the shed.
