Safety features for vintage pulls question

Just wondering what safety features or rules that pulling competitions have for vintage tractors that are pulling sleds. I am wondering about things like:

- how much front wheel lift is allowed before getting flagged?

- are kill switches (or maybe reachable ignition keys) required, and if not why not?

- what age of tractor is used for the cut off for pure (stock) vintage pulls?

- what insurance concerns do pulling groups (or insurance companies) have with vintage tractor pulls?

Any other safety items you could mention would also be appreciated.

1.OUR GROUP WILL NOT ALLOW WHEELIE BAR ANY HIGHER THAN 10" OFF GROUND WHILE ON SCALES.
2.KILL SWITCHES ARE REQUIRED IN ALL CLASSES WHETHER PRO STOCK OR FARM STOCK.
3.WE USE 1959 FOR ALL CLASSES THAT ALLOWS ABOUT ALL PRE 1960 WHEN THE RPM'S ON MOST TRACTORS CHANGED FOR THE FARM TRACTORS.
4. ALL PULLING HAVE SAFETY CONCERNS AND THE INSURANCE COMPANY REQUIRE A SET OF RULES AND SCHEDULE TO PROTECT YOU AND ALL OTHER PULLERS AT AN EVENT. WE CARRY OUR INSURANCE THOUGH ALLIED SPECIALITY OUT OF FL.
EVEN WITH ALL THE SAFETY REQUIRMENTS AND CHECKING TRACTORS YOU ALWAYS ARE HOPING SOMETHING WEIRD DOESN'T HAPPEN, WE HAVE SEEN HITCHES BREAK AND GUYS AND GALS WITH LESS THAN GOOD WHEELIE BARS. ITS YOUR LIFE AND MY CONCERN THEY HEAVY ENOUGH TO HANDLE THE TRACTOR IF IT GETS TO HIGH, IF ANYONE TAKES A CHANCE ON WHEELIE BARS BEING GOOD ENOUGH, THEY'RE
FOOLISH TO THINK THEY CAN STOP QUICK ENOUGH TO KEEP FROM HAVING AN ACCIDENT EVEN WITH A 30 HP TRACTOR PURE STOCK OR A 12MPH SUPER PRO STOCK. THIS MAY OR MAY NOT ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS BUT YOU CAN CALL ME 270-929-5669 JOHN LAMPKIN

I think quality wheelie bars should be mandatory on any and all pulling tractors. I watched a basically stock JD "R" nearly go over backwards once, and there wasn't the first indication it was going to do so. Went from a pretty decent hook with a little tire spin in first gear to standing straight up in about 1/2 a second. Just caught a good bite all at once and that was all it took. Kill switches usually aren't required in the lower divisions. If something gives and the tractor comes unhooked while you're pulling at 1.5 mph, you're not going to be in the crowd in the blink of an eye or anything. Basically the rules are going to vary from club to club and pull to pull.
